Snell & Wilcox Strengthens Presence in Northeast U.S. and Canada With Two Key Sales and Marketing Appointments
--
Snell & Wilcox has strengthened its presence in the Northeast United States and eastern Canada with the appointment of industry veteran James Noonan as Northeast regional sales manager and Gregory Siddons as district sales manager for the Northeast United States/Canada. Noonan will be responsible for sales strategy for major accounts, while Siddons - reporting to Noonan - will head up sales for call letter stations, post-production facilities, and government and educational institutions. "We are delighted to welcome Jim and Greg to sales management positions overseeing critical U.S. and Canadian markets and clients," said Dick Crippa, executive chairman of Snell & Wilcox. "Jim brings valuable knowledge and experience to his new role with the company, and Greg joins the company with a proven record of building successful relationships with key clients in the Northeast region. We're confident that they will make a strong contribution to Snell & Wilcox's continued leadership in these markets." Early in his 30-plus-year career in broadcast sales, Noonan was a senior account manager at Grass Valley Group. He took on regional management of the mid-Atlantic and New England at Quantel for three years, after which he moved on to an executive role at Digital Imagers. In 1997 Noonan accepted his first position with Snell & Wilcox, where he served as regional sales manager for the New York City market. Prior to rejoining Snell & Wilcox, he was a business group manager for Ascential Software's Media 360, and then a network sales manager for Pinnacle Systems' New York City clients. Siddons most recently was regional sales director in the Northeast United States for Teranex, where he facilitated large- and small-scale system deployments to film, broadcast, cable transmission, and post-production clients. He earlier held regional sales management roles with Convera, Integrated Computing Engines, and Video Corporation of America. Siddons began his work in the broadcast industry as an associate producer at Fox Cable Networks. He earned his Bachelor of Science in television, radio, and film from the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. Both Noonan and Siddons will work out of the Snell & Wilcox New York office.
