Snell & Wilcox Backs Up Broadcasters With 24-Hour Dedicated Support During 2006 FIFA World Cup

Front-Line, E-mail, and 24-Hour Phone Line Support Available for Snell & Wilcox Products Throughout World Cup Play in Germany

HAMPSHIRE, U.K - June 12, 2006 - Snell & Wilcox today announced that it has created a dedicated support structure for broadcasters using Snell & Wilcox equipment to deliver 2006 FIFA World Cup broadcasts to viewers across the globe. Seven Kahuna SD/HD multiformat production switchers are being deployed by five broadcasters for tournament coverage, and many broadcasters will also rely on Snell & Wilcox conversion, distribution, processing, monitoring, and control solutions to provide the best possible pictures in the most appropriate format.

Snell & Wilcox clients will enjoy front-line support in Germany from June 2 to July 9, with e-mail and 24-hour telephone support also available.
