Snell & Wilcox Presents HD Synchronizer at NAB 2003

Las Vegas, Nevada, NAB 2003, Booth C2860

--

At NAB 2003 Snell & Wilcox introduces "PowerSync", an ultra-compact HD-SDI synchronizer for use in production and transmission.

As an expandable, 1RU device, PowerSync is ideal for HD islands and other broadcast requirements. The ability to accommodate up to six channels of HD synchronization in just 1RU means PowerSync is very space efficient.

The flexible reference capability of PowerSync means that it accepts both SD bi-level and HD tri-level references from a wide variety of formats.

Timing problems are accommodated with a pixel-precise genlock adjustment; and incoming proc amp controls make PowerSync ideal as an incoming line's processor. Separate adjustment of luma and chroma gain provides maximum flexibility in this role.

PowerSync is available as a single-, dual-, quad- and six-channel unit.
