Snell & Wilcox will demonstrate "Splicer" at the AAF (Advanced Authoring Format) Technology Awareness Event scheduled for the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) - London on 21 February.
"Splicer" is a versatile High Definition conformer that enables users to transform their facility into an advanced, efficient HD content producer.
Splicer, which is a Java application, uses "Synapse" - the brains behind the Splicer GUI, which is a scalable workgroup metadata server based on the AAF object model. It has been designed from the ground up around AAF, which means Snell & Wilcox offers one of the highest levels of AAF compliance in the industry.
